To celebrate the new and improved Metro Trail the Friends group is hosting a Grand Reopening Celebration on June 4^th, and we need your help! If you can donate two hours of time on the day of the event, we need help at the registration tables (Ford Rd. & Lotz Rd. and at Schoolcraft College); at the ribbon cutting and children's parade at the Cherry Hill rest area; for a guided bike tour through Plymouth and an urban walk and roller blade in Livonia; and to patrol the path on bike in case anyone needs assistance.

If you can spare a couple of hours to help make this event a success, plan on coming to one of two meetings: on Tuesday, May 17^th at 6:00 p.m. at the Canton Administration Building, 1150 Canton Center Rd.; or on Thursday, May 19^th at 7:00 p.m. at the Northville Twp. offices, 44405 Six Mile Rd.
