The Plymouth Historical Museum has joined the Blue Star museums program to allow active military personnel and their families to visit the museum for free all summer long. The program is a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and 1,300 museums across the country. The complete list of participating museums is at: www.arts.gov/bluestarmuseums. The Plymouth Historical Museum hopes the program will encourage new families to visit while honoring their service. The program runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day during the museum's regular hours from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, except holidays.
