Raffle Tickets for Chance to Win $20,000 On Sale at Plymouth Historical Museum

From a Plymouth Historical Museum news release:

The Plymouth Historical Museum is teaming up with MotorCities National Heritage Area to sell raffle tickets for the exciting annual MotorCities Raffle Program. This program is designed to help many of Michigan’s auto and labor-related venues generate funds for their organizations. Tickets are for sale at the Museum for $5 each or three for $10; buyers have a chance to win $20,000 or four chances to win $1,000. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum and will be on sale until September 26, 2011. Winners will be announced at a MotorCities Volunteer Dinner on October 8 at the Auto Hall of Fame.

The Plymouth Historical Museum will receive 50 percent of the sale price of each ticket sold. The proceeds will be applied toward building upkeep needs, primarily the looming replacement of four rooftop heating/air conditioning units that are beyond their life expectancy. The Museum is part of the MotorCities National Heritage Area and includes an exhibit of the only known Alter car, made in Plymouth. The Museum is located at 155 S. Main Street, one block north of downtown Plymouth. Museum hours are 1-4 pm, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Visit the Museum’s website at www.plymouthhistory.org for more information.
