2013 Plymouth Ice Festival: Collegiate Carving Results

Both individuals and teams were crowned at last weekend's Plymouth Ice Festival College Carving Competitions in downtown Plymouth.

The competitions were Saturday and Sunday in Kellogg Park.

This year's collegiate winners represent Henry Ford Community College, Oakland Community College and Macomb Community College. 

Saturday, Jan. 19 - College Individual Carving Competition

  • First Place - Paul Nuznov from Henry Ford Community College with "Ruckus Roboticus"
  • Second Place - Lindsay Wood from Oakland Community College with "Flying Fish"
  • Third Place - Marsye Richards from Oakland Community College with "Chameleon"


Sunday, Jan. 20 - College Team Carving Competition

  • First Place - Richards / Wood from Oakland Community College
  • Second Place - Nuznov / Burnash from Henry Ford Community College
  • Third Place - Brock / Groszkiewicz from Macomb Community College
