5. Orange barrel watch: Ann Arbor Trail overpass closed

Travelers on Ann Arbor Trail in Plymouth Township will need to take a detour around the Interstate 275 overpass near Greenview Place between Eckles and Haggerty roads. The overpass closed last week as part of a massive bridge and overpass overhaul project. The overpass on Ann Arbor Road remains open and is a suitable detour, but watch out for additional traffic.

If you plan on heading north on I-275, remember the westbound on-ramp on Ann Arbor Road also is closed, so if you're headed that way, you'll have to loop around at Haggerty Road and take the eastbound on-ramp from Ann Arbor Road.
