Kris and I worked together on this one. He really spotted it first and then I helped to eliminate all other possible answers. We think the mystery photo is the sign tower over south bound I-275 just north of 5 mil rd. Looks like it could have been taken early in the morning from the bike path.

A little further south - just south of Ann Arbor Road on I-275 from the bike trail in the early evening. The sign in the front actually signals the Ann Arbor Road exit for Plymouth/Livonia. Taken last night from my iPhone!

I didn't think it was that one because there aren't many trees on the other side of the freeway. Another interesting discovery is that the sign is visible on the Google satellite map which is fairly recent, but is not there at all in the street view map which was taken in 2008.
