5. 'From the Shadows: The Villains Take the Stage'
Join the Spotlight Players 8 p.m. at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill for an evening of wicked fun as the villains of musical theater, film, and jazz step into the spotlight. The show includes the villains of Sweeney Todd and Chicago to Gilbert and Sullivan, and is rated PG-13. Tickets are $13.
4. Heather Nicole Hill Scholarship Fundraiser
The family and friends of Heather Nicole Hill, a 20-year-old Canton resident who died August in Belleville Lake, want to establish a scholarship in her memory. The fundraiser for the scholarship is 8 p.m. at Plaza Lanes, 42001 Ann Arbor Road, and tickets are $22. The organizers are looking for donations of any kind such as gift certificates, candles, lotions, or any other new items to add to gift baskets for raffles.
3. Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff is Sunday
The Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff is 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday in Kellogg Park in downtown Plymouth. Stop by to sample some chili and catch a glimpse of plenty of motorcycles. Awards are announced at 5 p.m. — we'll see if Plymouth-Canton Patch reader Tom Pardikes takes home top prize for his acclaimed chili!
2. Scarecrows in Kellogg Park
Twenty-nine scarecrows are up in Kellogg Park. Groups, businesses and families build and decorate a scarecrow in Kellogg Park to be on display through Halloween. Take a walk down Main Street to see them and look for our very own Patch scarecrow!
