Canton OKs Changes to Planned Cherry Hill Village Development
Development of The Corners at Cherry Hill sees minor changes.
The Canton Township Board of Trustees on Tuesday approved minor changes to a new housing development at Cherry Hill Village.
Plans for The Corners at Cherry Hill, to be situated along the south side of Cherry Hill Road west of Denton Road, originally called for 131 residential units, including 52 duplex units, 17 estate lots and 62 village lots.
The minor changes approved Tuesday scaled back the density of the area by eliminating duplex units, bringing the total to 97, mostly consisting of village lots.
Howard Fingeroot from developer Pinnacle Homes told board members the homes likely will start at about $250,000-$350,000.
The site plan for the development has a primary entrance off of Denton Road stopping at a large park area. The development also will connect to Hancock Street at the southwest corner of the development and future connections to Cherry Hill Road will be made via a future connection from Harding to Cherry Hill.

Great. Let me know when an actual restaurant/retail community is being developed. Don't get me wrong... I do love "more houses." But still......

Does this make the Corners @ Cherry Hill Village part of the Cherry Hill Village sub since it connects? I would assume that the houses would need to be consistent with the look of the homes in Cherry Hill Village if the streets are connected...

How come the original development of Cherry Hill Village has new homes starting at only $200k and every development surrounding it including this new one starts at $300k as an average?
