Crowds packed downtown Plymouth on Sunday for the Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff.
Cooks prepped their chili in the Gathering Pavilion in downtown Plymouth on Sunday.

Winners were crowned Sunday at the Great Lakes Regional Chili Cookoff in downtown Plymouth.

The annual event draws motorcycles and chili cooks from around the region, with the cooks competing in numerous chili categories. 

The list of winners ranged from near (Irish Fire Chili in Westland) to far (Alien Chili in Coppell, TX). 

The full list of winners is as follows:

Best Booth: Leo Buk Nuclear Chili Trenton, MI
People's Choice: Chris Thompson Irish Fire Chili Westland, MI
Salsa 1st Place: Ken Kostal Island Heat Salsa Marblehead, OH
Chili Verde 1st Place: Jim Stoddard Alien Chili Coppell, TX
Red Chili 1st Place: Richard Chauvin South of the Border Chili Windsor, Ontario
Restaurant Chili Challenge:

Best Judged: Rub Pub BBQ   Detroit & Warren, MI
