Crime Report: CVS Reports Woman Taking Liquor, Cold Medicine

When police arrived, a CVS employee indicated the woman was running from the store to a back alley, the report said. Police checked the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the woman, the report said.
The CVS employee told police that she saw the woman stuff several items into her jacket, walk to the front door and exit the store, the report said. She told police the woman appeared to have a liquor bottle and cold medicine, the report said.
The employee described the woman as 5-foot-9, in her early 20s, with dark hair and wearing a black Northface-brand jacket, the report said.
Officers reviewed surveillance video and, according to the report, saw the woman taking a pair of boots, one bottle of alcohol and what looked to be cold medicine.
Weed whacker taken from apartment complex's shed
Plymouth Township Police responded April 11 to Hillcrest Club Apartments, 12350 Risman Drive, for a report of a weed whacker taken from a maintenance shed, according to a police report.
The property manager told police that a maintenance worker noticed that the shed had been broken into and its latch was broken. An orange Toro-brand weed whacker was discovered to be missing, the report said. There are no suspects.
Boat vandalized at storage facility
Plymouth Township Police took a complaint April 13 from a man whose boat was vandalized at Travel Trailer Storage, 41980 E. Ann Arbor Road, according to a police report.
The man told police he received an email from the storage facility that his 16-foot Chrysler tri-hull boat was vandalized and items were stolen. He told police he last saw the boat March 15, according to the report.
A Sears-brand battery and two six-gallon gas cans were taken, two trailer tires were punctured and the boat motor cover was removed, the report said. The owner told police he wouldn’t be sure if there is any motor damage until he takes the boat into a repair shop.
