1. Sound Off on Ford Road
The Michigan Senate's transportation hearing on proposed improvements to the Ford Road-I-275-Haggerty intersection is set for 6 p.m. today at Summit on the Park.

2. Chamber Hosts Doug Rothwell
The Canton Chamber of Commerce networking luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Summit on the Park. Doug Rothwell, president and CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan is scheduled to deliver the keynote.

3. Plymouth-Canton Marching Band at State
Plymouth-Canton Marching Band goes to Michigan Competing Bands Association's state finals Saturday at Ford Field, 2000 Brush St. Detroit.
PCMB is scheduled to perform at 10:30 a.m.; awards are set to be presented at 11:15 a.m.
4. Honor the Military
Canton's annual Salute to Service program is set for 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Village Theater at Cherry Hill. The show honors both veterans and active duty members of all branches of the military. Doors open at 6 p.m. so visitors can peruse military memorabilia displays. Michigan Military Moms plan to collect items to fill care packages for men and women serving overseas.

5. VFW Bazaar Canceled
The Mayflower/Lt. Gamble VFW Post 6695 Ladies Auxiliary's holiday bazaar, set for Sunday, has been canceled.
