1. Canton Farmers Market

Bob Skon will bring his guitar and lovely voice to the Bartlett-Travis porch during today's Canton Farmers Market, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Preservation Park, 500 N. Ridge Rd.. Also it's the last day for the plant exchange — bring some of your own to trade with others or buy plants for $1 apiece.

2. Blood Drive

St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

3. Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Mohandas Gandhi considered the father of India, starting at 2 p.m. today at Village Theater at Cherry Hill. Doors open at 1:15 p.m.; admission is $2. This annual event is organized by the Canton Cultural Commission Multicultural Committee members. The Village Theater is at 50400 Cherry Hill Rd.

4. Gas: $3.24

If you're paying cash for gas, you can get it for $3.24 a gallon at update Valero, 41350 Ford Rd. today in Canton, according to Gasbuddy.com.


5. Plan: Wednesday Spaghetti Benefit

Help support older Canton residents through the Senior Adult Program by getting dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Maple/Oak Room at Summit On The Park. Canton residents pay $8, non-residents pay $10.
