Get Out: Five Things to Do This Weekend
Movie filmed in Plymouth screens at Penn; community garage sale returns to Plymouth Cultural Center.
This week we see a locally filmed movie premiere at the Penn, as well as some other summer activities.
1. Trust comes to the Penn Theatre
Where/When: 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday, 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. on June 30 at the historic Penn Theatre. Check the Penn Theatre website for more information and the latest times and showings.
Why Go: Trust, starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, was filmed in Plymouth and is about 14-year-old Annie, who meets her first boyfriend online. She soon discovers he isn't who he claimed to be. The film, directed by David Schwimmer, earned rave reviews, including four stars from critic Roger Ebert. The film is rated R and runs 106 minutes.

2. The Crutches come to the Kellogg Park stage for Music in the Air
Where/When: 7 p.m. Friday at Kellogg Park along Penniman Avenue in Plymouth.
Why Go: The Crutches add funk flavor to modern and classic hits you'll likely recognize. The concert series is now in its fifth week and attendance has been booming in recent weeks.
Pricing: Admission and parking is free. Additional free parking is available at the First Church of Christ Scientist parking lot, 1100 W. Ann Arbor Trail.
3. Get some goods at the Plymouth Community Garage Sale
Where/When: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Plymouth Cultural Center, 525 Farmer St.
Why Go: Because of high demand, there are four community garage sales this season.

4. Disney/Pixar's Cars 2 comes to Compuware Arena Drive-In
Where/When: Dusk on Friday and Saturday at Compuware Arena
Why Go: The Compuware Arena Drive-In is open again every day with new selections premiering each Friday. This week's features include: Mr. Popper's Penguins (PG) with X-Men: First Class (PG-13); Cars 2 (G) with Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (PG-13) and Green Lantern (PG-13) with Super 8 (PG-13).

5. Plymouth Farmers Market offers fresh produce downtown
Where/When: 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. along Penniman Avenue and South Main Street near the Gathering and Kellogg Park.
Why Go: Enjoy fresh Michigan and U.S. produce as farmers and distributors set up shop all along near Kellogg Park.
