Hot Dog! Plymouth Man Devours Competition at Fishbone's
Matthew Holowicki defeated a 14-man field in a hot dog eating contest at Fishbone's in St. Clair Shores.
Matthew Holowicki of Plymouth won a hot dog eating contest at Fishbone’s on Saturday.
Holowicki devoured 17 hot dogs in eight minutes to lead the 14-man field and win $500 and a pair of tickets to the Detroit Tigers’ April 8 home opener.
This is the fifth year Fishbone's has held the contest.
Last year's champion, Anthony Brasnjak of St. Clair Shores, ate 15 hot dogs and finished second.
