Isabella's Copper Pot to Close Doors in Downtown Plymouth
Retailer to close by the end of March.
Isabella’s Copper Pot will close its doors in downtown Plymouth at the end of March, according to the Plymouth Downtown Development Authority.
The store, owned by Stacy Shafto and Doug Fopma, has been a fixture on Main Street in downtown Plymouth for about three years.
The store will begin a 30 percent off sale, beginning Saturday.
Shafto and Fopma will continue to operate their store in Gaylord.

What a bummer! I loved this store and spent quite alot of money there. It was refreshing to have something a little different. Hope something else good goes in.

When I needed a metal steamer basket I went there, figuring I'd support local business rather rather than spend money at the big box Bed Bath & Beyond. After fighting for a parking spot I went in only to discover they didn't have any metal ones in stock. Next time I needed a kitchen accessory, guess where I went. Sorry guys but if you're going to compete with the big box stores, you've gotta be on your game with your selection. Here's hoping we get a new quality shop in its place.
