For Tommy Jadan, this is the first year his Happy’s Pizza location in Plymouth has been open for a Super Bowl, but he’s already anticipating a busy day for takeout and delivery orders of his business’ wings, pizza, subs and appetizers as local fans gear up to watch the New York Giants square off against the New England Patriots.

“We’re staying open late, we’re loaded with drivers for deliveries, we have the whole store staffed,” Jadan said.

The Farmington Hills-based chain opened its Plymouth Township location on Ann Arbor Road in 2011, and already the business has seen its catering and dining menus expand. Jadan said he thinks the restaurant’s diverse menu — which ranges from pizza to seafood and chicken — will be a hit with those looking for diverse options for their Super Bowl parties.

“We’re prepared for large crowds,” Jadan said. The store, which is open Sunday from noon-midnight, offers pick-up and takeout orders, as well as delivery within a five-mile radius.

While Happy’s Pizza will be marking its first Super Bowl in the area, Plymouth’s Belly Buster’s Pizza and Liquor has worked several from its location at the intersection of Ann Arbor Trail and Mill Street (Lilley).

“We have everything from kegs to three-foot, six-foot subs, wings of any style from BBQ to hot to mild, pizzas from small to extra large,” owner David Arafat said.

Belly Buster’s offers takeout and delivery of its food, as well as any convenience item as its space doubles as a party store.

Arafat boasted his store’s wide array of craft beers, which includes many made in Michigan, as well as sodas, snacks, chips and Michigan-made salsa.

For those making a party of Sunday’s Super Bowl festivities, Arafat said the store, which is open Sunday from noon-10 p.m., sells everything but the table itself for beer pong.

Downtown Plymouth also might be bustling with Super Bowl crowds.

Ironwood Grill will offer deals on beer buckets and discounts on takeout orders for the game.

During halftime, manager Al LaPointe said, the restaurant, which offers several large-screen television sets, will offer a pulled-pork slider-eating contest. Potential participants can call the restaurant at (734) 667-5614 or ask the restaurant staff before game day. Ironwood Grill is open noon-midnight Sunday.

In Canton, Buffalo Wild Wings expects to draw large crowds who favor its quantity of big-screen TVs, flavors of wing sauce and selection of beer.

Management at the restaurant’s Ford Road location said seating is strictly first-come, first-served, but its takeout orders also are a popular choice for Super Bowl parties. Buffalo Wild Wings’ Canton location is open 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

Want dessert with that?

Perfectly Sweet Cakes and Desserts, a relatively new addition to the space on Ann Arbor Trail occupied by Boule Artisan Bakery, offers Giants and Patriots-themed cookies for the big game.

Options include cookies made in the likeness of each team’s helmets and Eli Manning and Tom Brady’s jerseys.

Kurt Lienhard, owner of Perfectly Sweet, said he also offers his popular German pretzels, paczki and coffee cakes as post-dinner fare. Perfectly Sweet is open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, but is closed Sunday.
