Last year, the Canton Chiefs rebounded from a tight regular-season loss to the Plymouth Wildcats to defeat their cross-campus rivals in the first round of the state football playoffs.

This year, the Chiefs (6-3) will hope history repeats itself. The Chiefs dropped a 28-21 game earlier this month against the Wildcats (7-2) and the teams again have drawn one another in a first-round playoff matchup. 

The teams will kick off 7 p.m. Friday at the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park turf field. Tickets are $5.
