Photos: Students Bid Farewell to Fiegel Elementary on Last Day of School
Elementary school closing as part of district's right-sizing effort.
Students, staff and faculty gave a fond farewell today to Fiegel Elementary.
The school is closing as part of a right-sizing and cost-cutting measure by the district.
Today marked the last day for students, and Patch reader Deanna Willis was there to document the occasion. If you have photos to share, please add them to this gallery.

We had some of the best cook outs on the side parking lot at Fiegel.. Bill Maynes with his chef apron on and the kids running all over! Then there was the installation of the play scape! Then there were scouts... and the list goes on! Fiegel has not only given up wonderful memories but also many friends! Fiegel staff helped us raise our children and became part of our family... Fiegel.. you will be missed!

Yes, the Fiegel Fall Family BBQ was the greatest, Fiegel FaLaLa Night singing Christmas Carols outside on a cold winter evening. Santa's Workshop, Easter Bunny Breakfast. But most of all, All the wonderful teachers. Many thanks to them and wish them all well in the future.

And let's not forget all the wonderful Maint/Custodial staff that Fiegel has had over the years, it's so sad that the Plymouth/Canton board members are very close to a decision to Privatizing these wonderful people thru out the district.

Fiegel left us with lots of great memories. Sad to see it will not be a school anymore but happy to remember the great times there.
