It will be a hometown rivalry Friday when Plymouth High School plays Canton High School in the Class A boys basketball district final.

The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Northville High School, according to the MHSAA website.

Canton has already defeated Novi, 49-24, and Salem, 57-49, to advance to the district finals. Plymouth beat Detroit Catholic Central, 36-26, and Northville, 48-37, to advance.

The winner of the district final will move on to the regional tournament, where the team will first play the winner of Friday's Ann Arbor Huron vs. Ypsilanti game.
