Police on Lookout for Suspicious Man in Plymouth Township
Police have received three reports of man following female high school students from homes.
Police are on the lookout for a suspicious man seen in the area of Haggerty Road and Ann Arbor Trail in Plymouth Township.
According to a news release from the department, police have received three reports in the past week of a tall, thin man in his 40s or 50s with sandy brown, shaggy hair following female students from their homes to their bus stop at Gilbert and Morgan.
According to the news release, the man had "disappeared" before anyone could get a good description. The three incidents occurred between 6 and 6:20 a.m., and the man was seen traveling on foot.
The Plymouth Township Police Department has increased patrols in the area and has passed the information onto the Plymouth Canton Community Schools. Police also are requesting any information regarding these incidents to be reported to them.
The alert comes less than a week after Canton police issued a "stranger danger" after reports of a suspicious man loitering on school property and two reports of men exposing themselves to students.
Questions and/or leads can be directed to SRO Detective Bryan Rupard of the Plymouth Township Police Department at 734-354-3243.
