Power Outage Closes Plymouth Kroger
Construction knocks power out at Plymouth Township Kroger store.
Kroger in Plymouth Township closed Thursday afternoon because of a power outage, according to Patch reader Cathy Donaldson.
Donaldson said in an email she had just returned from the store, which had closed because of a power outage caused by construction in the area. She said the outage occurred at about 4:15 p.m. and store employees did not know at the time when they will be able to reopen.
The outage has not been reflected on DTE's outage map.
We'll bring you updates as they become available.

John McKay- Related to this Kroger, do you know if they will be tearing down the building right in front of the addition - the one with the FedEx store? It seems crazy that they'd allow for the buildings to be so close together. Plus parking will be a huge problem there. It already is, and more square footage should mean more shoppers and cars. If that building isn't torn down, the Plymouth Planning Commission that approved the plan needs to be replaced!

The building where the Red Dragon Chinese Rerstaurant will become parking. That much I know.

The building was being torn down this afternoon - likely the cause of the power outage.

The stores in the existing building, including FedEx, will be moving to the endcap of the Kroger building expansion, while that building, as Bryan said, becomes parking. Hope that answers your question!
