Royal Oak Teacher Named as New Salem High School Assistant Principal
Todd Noonan hired following December departure of Lawrence Stroughter.
Plymouth-Canton Community Schools wasted little time in finding a replacement assistant principal at Salem High School following the December departure of Lawrence Stroughter.
Todd Noonan of Farmington will leave his post as a teacher at Royal Oak High School to fill the vacancy left by Stroughter, who left the Plymouth-Canton district to take a job at Harrison High School.
His new post takes effect Jan. 28, and his hiring was confirmed Tuesday by the Plymouth-Canton Board of Education as part of its consent agenda.
Noonan began working at Royal Oak High School in 2002, and served as dean and student accounting adviser from 2007-2011. He previously worked at Fremont High School in Oakland, CA, in 2002. He earned a Masters in Educational Leadership in 2010 from Wayne State University and a Bachelors in Political Science and Spanish in 1995 from Kalamazoo College.

This was a great loss for RO Schools! Happy for Mr. Noonan, but sad to see him go.
