What should go in the space formerly occupied by Amici Italian Bistro?

The close-knit community of Plymouth's Old Village enjoys the convenience of local shopping and dining and a backdrop of unique, historic buildings and homes.

One such building, formerly occupied by Amici's Italian Bistro, remains vacant after the restaurant moved to 44741 5 Mile Road last year.

Situated alongside homes and niche small businesses, there are several possibilities for the former Amici's space.

When possible, we'll provide some guidelines to keep expectations realistic, given our prior knowledge of the property and existing ordinances.

For this particular development, a bar is not an option because the Plymouth City Commission has capped liquor licenses in the city.

It is a small area inside. What about a Breakfast Restaurant? Or a Florist?

An Art Gallery would be nice. Or if it has to be a restaurant, a carry out pizza joint.
