Welcome to Plymouth-Canton Patch
Today marks the launch of the combined Plymouth and Canton site.
Welcome, readers, to Plymouth-Canton Patch.
Starting today, all the news and features you'd find at Plymouth Patch and Canton Patch are now in one spot, the new Plymouth-Canton Patch.
You can expect the same in-depth coverage of both communities, as we continue to highlight news and events in the City of Plymouth, Plymouth Township and Canton Township.
Why combine the two sites?
One thing we've noticed about Plymouth and Canton is that, besides sharing one of the state's largest school districts, residents of each town often frequent the other. The communities, while vastly different in character, complement one another and share plenty of connections. It became apparent, after covering both since 2010, that the two communities would best be served with one site, with everything in one convenient place.
The new site will continue to be a one-stop destination for everything about Plymouth and Canton. This means news content, blogs, events and announcements for the two communities now will be accessible all in one spot: Right here.
We need your help to ensure the transition goes smoothly, however. To make sure you make the most of out of the combined site, please "Like" Plymouth Patch on Facebook and follow the @PlymouthPatch account on Twitter, as those will be the social media hubs for the new site.
With the new site and increased area comes some additional coverage help. Patch currently is seeking an associate local editor for Plymouth-Canton Patch.
I'll still be your editor and you'll still see me at important events and government meetings in both communities. If I miss you, don't hesitate to drop me a line at email@example.com or (810) 986-9481.
