Plymouth Township Police responded Dec. 14 to East Hills Drive for a report of an attempted breaking and entering, according to a police report.

When police arrived, a woman at the residence told police between 3 and 11 a.m., someone tried breaking into her garage, attached to her home, through the back entrance, according to a police report.

The woman told police she noticed the door slightly ajar, the report said.

Police noticed some damage on the door from a security device that prevented from the door being completely opened, the report said. Nothing appeared to be missing from the garage, according to the report.
