Westland John Glenn opens up divisional play with victory over Canton
The John Glenn Rockets came in to Canton’s Phase III gym Friday night on a mission to extend their six-game winning streak.
Mission accomplished.
Despite James Pruitt IV (6’8) and Michael Edwards (6’6) sitting out due to the flu, the Rockets played by committee to defeat the Chiefs, 53-48.
“It’s all about boxing out and using your weight against the taller opponents,” John Glenn senior guard Richard Roberts said.
