Every week, I pre-schedule my week’s worth of workouts so that I don’t have to think about what muscle group I’m going to work on when each day arrives. It has already been planned by me, for myself. I have been doing this successfully for years, and it doesn’t matter which groups are the targets for the day because they are all important to my overall wellbeing, in my eyes.
In earlier days of this regimen, it would have been easy to schedule only certain favorite body muscle groups, because some are just easier to work out than others, and some are just more fun. Instead, I forced myself to work the tough ones just as hard as the easy ones. I somehow knew that it would pay off down the road, and it surely has.
Now, every group and each cardio-respiratory workout session gets my complete focus and hardest effort, because they are all important. If they were my children, I’d have to say that I treat them all with equal respect regarding my health. You should too. Work your entire body throughout the week in muscle groups of no more than four per day.
That way, you can concentrate on your “children” equally. Commit to Fit!
