When Kacey was brought to Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue, she was in pretty bad shape. "Every bone was visible," said foster parent Karen Gould, who has had Kacey for two weeks. Kacey has since gained a good amount of weight but could use another 5 pounds. She also said that part of the dog's tail had to be amputated. "She can't run and play with other dogs yet," she said. The goal is to slowly get her active. Her breed, the treeing walker coonhound, is associated with being good at hunting for raccoons. Jezebel is a 10-month-old red-and-white hound mix who came to the Humane Society of Huron Valley from Tennessee. She'd love a family that is active and who would walk her daily.
