Canton Public Library has more than 300,000 items to loan and is considered the busiest single-branch library in Michigan.

Other resources include 116 computers; scanners; a fax, copier, and typewriter.

The 53,000-square-foot library has dedicated space for children, tweens, teens, those who want quiet study and those who need access to the Internet.

Three meeting rooms are available at no cost for individuals or non-profits; the library's community room with a 100-person capacity requires advance reservations and some charges may apply.

The Jungle Java Cafe in the library sells sandwiches, soup, coffee, other beverages and light snacks.
