5 Upcoming Shows at the Village Theater at Cherry Hill
Here's a look at five shows scheduled for October and November at the Village Theater.
Sweetest Day is Oct. 19 this year. If you are looking for a relaxing night out with your special loved one, check out these upcoming shows at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.
1. Haunted Horns 9-Benefit Concert for First Step
The Canton Concert Band will hold its 9th Annual Halloween Benefit Concert. The concert will benefit First Step. Donations will be accepted at the door. The concert takes place at 2 p.m. Oct. 26.
2. Spotlight on Suspense -'The Birds' and 'Rebecca'
Spotlight Players invites you to enjoy a night of suspense with the dark and ominous tale, 'The Birds' and 'Rebecca', adapted from the classic Daphne DuMaurier stories. So steel your nerves and join us for a night of intrigue and nail-biting suspense at 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.
3. Remember When
Take a step back in time and 'Remember When...'. Singing all your favorites. Concert will be held in the Biltmore Studio. Hors d'Oeuvres and beverages will be provided by Heartland at a reception following the performance. The concert takes place on Nov. 2 at 2:30 and 5:30 p.m.
4. Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute from Vegas
Billy Joel has had Top 10 hits in the '70s, '80s, and '90s. He has sold over 150 million records and is a 6-time Grammy Award winner. He is a songwriter's Hall of Fame inductee earning the Mercer Award. He is also a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Jeff Brewer and Jeff Scott's outstanding vocal abilities and flair for entertainment make for an enjoyable evening. They have captivated audiences both large and small in the U.S. and Canada. Sure to please any Billy Joel and Elton John fans (and maybe create new ones) this is a must see tribute act! The concert will be held Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
5. Conflict, Catfights and Sass - A Cabaret
A cabaret exploring songs of war, competition, internal strife and romantic angst. These intense emotional moments serve as fertile ground for Broadway songwriters from Rogers and Hart to JRB, and an opportunity for performers to make sparks fly! The concert will be held Nov. 15 at 8 p.m.
