5 Ways to Celebrate Halloween in Plymouth and Canton

The community is filled with Halloween-themed events during the next two weeks.

Cemetery Walk

Visitors will get an exclusive look into the past by meeting some residents of Plymouth's Riverside Cemetery during the fourth Plymouth Historical Museum Cemetery Walk.

When: Oct. 26 4 p.m.; walks begin every 15 minutes
Where: Riverside Cemetery, 660 Plymouth Rd., Plymouth
Price: Presale tickets cost $10 per person and $15 per person at the cemetery

Old Village Haunted Halloween Party

Are you ready for Halloween? Old Village will host its annual Halloween block party on Sunday, Oct. 27. The event will feature Pumpkin Bowling, Donut Gallows, Costume Contests, a 50/50 raffle and much more! Fun for all ages!

When: Oct. 27, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Liberty Street, between Mill and Starkweather

Ghost Stories 

An evening of Ghost Stories will be presented by Judge Ronald Lowe. This event is suitable for ages 8 and up. Judge Lowe will take you on an adventure with
tales of fright, twists and turns, and things that go bump in the night. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cider and donuts will also be available, while supplies last.

When: Oct. 27 6. p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Summit on the Park Grand Ballroom, 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton
Price: $4 for individuals, $10 for families. All proceeds benefit the Canton Historical Society.

Pipes Spooktacular Halloween Concert

St. John's own "Minister of Mayhem" Julie Ford and special guests will perform spooky and silly music on organ and other instruments. Concert-goers are encouraged to come in costume.  The concert will be followed by Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot.

When: Oct. 27, 6:30 p.m.
Where: St. John's Episcopal Church, 574 S. Sheldon Rd., Plymouth
Price: Suggested donation is $5 for individuals and $15 for families.

Canton Trick-or-Treat Parade

Parade participants will enjoy seeing the Summit all decked out for the event, as well as dozens of themed stations which will be set up for ages 12 and under. There will be two path options with age appropriate themed stations, one spooky and one not.

When: Oct. 30, 4-7 p.m.
Where: Summit On The Park, 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton
Price: Presale tickets cost $2, while all general admission tickets purchased at the door will cost $5. Please have proof of Canton residency.
