Canton Library Helps Seniors with College Essays

A former business writing teacher will offer critiques to local high school seniors.

The Canton Public Library will offer free assistance to high school seniors writing college entrance essays beginning Tuesday. 

Loraine Yoneda, a former business writing teacher at the Central Pennsylvania Business School, will be offering her help and experience by critiquing essays and offering suggestions and advice for improvement.

The sessions will be held weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Time slots are 30 minutes each.

To sign up for a time slot, visit the East Desk and remember to bring work for critique. Slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
