Canton Waste Recycling Yard Waste Collection Ends Dec. 5

Yard waste pick-up will resume again in April 2014.

Curbside pick-up of residential yard waste ends this week and will not resume until April 2014.

Canton Waste Recycling (CWR) will not pick-up on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Wednesday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 31 or Wednesday, Jan. 1.

There will be no delay in pick-up on Monday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 30 but if your collection day falls on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during the holiday week your collection will be delayed by two days both weeks.

The week of Dec. 23 and Dec. 30, CWR will be picking up on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. CWR will resume its regular pick-up schedule on Monday, Jan. 6.

CWR will also offer curb-side pick-up of natural Christmas trees from Jan. 2-8. Please place your tree at the curb by 6:30 a.m. on your regular trash day with all tree stands, lights, ornaments and any other decorative material removed. After Jan. 8, trees will no longer be accepted at the curb.

All refuse, recycling and yard waste must be placed at the curb by 6:30 am to ensure pick-up. CWR will not pick-up refuse or recycling that is placed passed the sidewalk on private property. All recycling must be placed separate from your refuse on the opposite side of your driveway.
