Force-Free Animal Training Seminar at Harcum College

Nationally-recognized animal trainer Barbara Heidenreich will explain animal behavior

Bryn Mawr, PA January 31, 2014 –  Harcum College’s Animal Center Management Program will offer a one-day animal training workshop for veterinary professionals and members of the public who own or work with animals with Barbara Heidenreich on Saturday March 8, 2014 at Harcum’s Bryn Mawr Campus.

Heidenreich is a professional animal trainer who advocates a force-free approach to animal training and treatment. She is an author, lecturer, consultant to zoos and animal parks, and an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University. Her workshop will focus on understanding animal behavior and techniques to make veterinary care stress-free, with an emphasis on working with parrots.
