NFIB, the voice of small business, throws support behind Fausone

Carol Ann Fausone received a boost today with an endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the state’s leading small business advocacy group. NFIB represents family-owned and small business throughout Michigan, and lauded Fausone for her understanding of the importance of small businesses to Michigan’s comeback.

“Carol Ann Fausone has a keen understanding of the problems facing family businesses and their employees,” said Charles Owens, NFIB’s Director in Michigan. “We wish Carol Ann success in the upcoming election and we look forward to working with her in the Michigan legislature.”

Fausone herself is a small business owner, of The Veteran Advocate, LLC, which helps veterans and their families. She also works with her husband, Jim, at Legal Help For Veterans, PLLC, a nationwide law firm for veterans.

Fausone is affectionately referred to by her colleagues as the CFO – “Chief Fix-it Officer.” Fausone hopes to bring that same mentality and work ethic to the legislature for the people of her community.

“As a small business owner myself, I know how critical the success of small and family-owned businesses are to Michigan's comeback,” said Fausone. “We need to simplify regulations and reduce the unnecessary burdens facing current and aspiring business owners.”
