Small Business Association Backs Fausone as Candidate to Maintain Economic Momentum

The Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) gave Carol Ann Fausone their “Stamp of Approval,” giving the retired brigadier general and small business owner another boost from small and family-owned businesses in Michigan.

The SBAM support comes on the heels of the National Federation of Independent Business and Michigan Chamber of Commerce endorsements. Together, these endorsements show that Fausone is the candidate with the most experience to help Michigan continue its economic comeback.

“We urge support for these candidates who will work to maintain Michigan’s positive economic momentum,” says SBAM president and CEO Rob Fowler. SBAM is dedicated to helping Michigan’s small business community and encouraging entrepreneurship.

Fausone herself is a small business owner, of The Veteran Advocate, LLC, which helps veterans and their families. The Veteran Advocate also consults with businesses on how they can best serve veterans and their families.

Fausone is affectionately referred to by her colleagues as the CFO – “Chief Fix-it Officer.” The support of these business advocacy groups show that Fausone can bring that same mentality and work ethic to the legislature for the people of her community, entrepreneurs, and working families.

“As a small business owner, I know that a healthy climate for entrepreneurs and jobs for working families are critical to the Michigan economy,” said Fausone. “We need a better government that helps business drive job growth by removing unnecessary road-blocks and tax burdens.”
