4. Farmers Market resumes Saturday in Plymouth

The Plymouth Farmers Market makes another stop downtown at the Gathering near on Saturday for its second week of the 2012 season. The market runs from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and features vendors from around the region.

3. Cancer benefit Relay for Life is this weekend

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event in Canton will be held May 19-20 at in Canton. The relay is a 24-hour relay-style walk to raise funds to fight cancer, with funds benefiting cancer research and other causes for those affected by cancer. 1. The Avengers, Battleship screening at Compuware Drive-In tonight

Summer is almost here and drive-in movie season is upon us, as opens its drive-in theater this weekend for the first of two sneak-peek weekends before it begins its nightly operations after the Memorial Day weekend.
