4. Check out Plymouth Farmers Market today

The Plymouth Farmers Market makes another stop downtown at the Gathering near today for its second week of the 2012 season. The market runs from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and features vendors from around the region.

3. Cancer benefit Relay for Life starts today

The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event in Canton will be held May 19-20 at in Canton. The relay is a 24-hour relay-style walk to raise funds to fight cancer, with funds benefiting cancer research and other causes for those affected by cancer. 2. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat entertains at Village Theater

1. Whalers' rookie orientation begins today

The Plymouth Whalers will be hosting their today and Sunday at . The event features Plymouth draft choices over the past couple of seasons, plus invited free agents.  

The rookie and free agents will be scrimmaging from 5-7 p.m. today and 9:30-11 a.m. on Sunday. The scrimmages are free and open to the public and media.  Rosters will be provided the day of the scrimmages.
