Canton Among Real Estate Blog's Top 10 Michigan Cities
MoVoTo cites low crime rates and higher than average home values in its review.
Citing both a low crime rate and high home values, MoVoTo Blog this week ranked Canton the third best city/township in Michigan.
MoVoTo described Canton as being extremely attractive to prospective residents, given the 91 percent higher than average home values and a crime rate well under the state average.
"Yet more is from an unemployment rate of only 2.5 percent coupled with a median income of $85,444 which is 85 percent higher than the average for Michigan," the blog noted. "So, no only can you put more in the bank, but you don’t have to worry as much about needing it to cover expenses if you get laid off."
