Try Zumba, donate blood for SWAG and save on groceries at the Canton Farmers Market.

1. Experience Zumba

Anyone 16 and older can experience Zumba, a high-energy musical workout, from 9-10 a.m. today at Canton Leisure Services' Zumba party in the Maple Room at , 46000 Summit Parkway. Register in person after 6 a.m. today at the Summit; fees are $5 for Summit members, $7 for residents and $10 for nonresidents.

2. Library Blood Drive

If you are eligible to donate blood, has a great deal. People who donate a pint of blood at the library's American Red Cross drive, set for 11 a.m-4:45 p.m. Aug. 26, will be entered in a drawing. The prizes include: two tickets to Cedar Point or free gasoline for a year. Every donor will receive free box of chocolates courtesy of Edible Arrangements. 3. Pippi Longstocking

The 8th Wonder Production's staging of , a classic children's tale, continues today with shows at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the , 50400 Cherry Hill Rd. Tickets range from $5 to $15 and may be purchased at the door or online.

4. Gas: $ 3.48, Maybe

The lowest price for gas Friday was $3.48 per gallon at , 44404 Ford Rd. at Sheldon Road; , 45350 Ford Rd. at N. Canton Center Rd. and 5596 N. Lilley Rd. at Ford; and , 41350 Ford Rd. at Haggerty Road. That's according to GasBuddy.com as of Friday afternoon, but prices have been edging back up.

5. Plan Ahead: Canton Farmers Market

Go early — 9 a.m. Sunday — to the Canton Farmers Market, (North Ridge Road near Cherry Hill Road) and start your day with a bootcamp-style workout, then check out the seasonal fruits and vegetables. People with Bridge Cards may use the Fair Food Network's Double-Up Food Bucks program, which stretches the Bridge Card's buying power.
