Asparagus at the Farmers Market, pancakes in Cherry Hill Village and the Kroger fuel station revisited.

One: is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Preservation Park. There's still some asparagus and folks, the rhubarb is in, too.

Two: The annual Cherry Village homeowners association's all-you-can-eat is on — featuring flipping phenom Chris Cakes at the griddle. Tickets are $7.50 and breakfast is over at noon.

Three: Canton Township's planning commission is scheduled meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the township administration building. The board will revisit the fuel station proposal.

Four: It's National Open House day -- if you're shopping for a home, check out some of the realtor connections on the Canton Patch directory.

Five: This week marks the final countdown to commencement for Class of 2011 students from Canton, Plymouth, Salem and Starkweather's senior classes. Congratulations to all the new grads.
