A Philadelphia woman is looking for her exotic cat, Luna, in Detroit.

That’s where the Angi Lee, the owner of the Bengal cat, last saw her exotic cat near the Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus on June 30, WXYZ, Channel 7, reports.

She was moving from Minnesota to Philadelphia and topped off to see her mother in Detroit. Her cat disappeared in the vicinity of Charles Street and Kenwood Street, according to a post on the For the Love of Louie/Michigan Lost Pet Lookers Facebook page.

Bengal cats are recognized as a separate breed by domestic cat organizations. They are the result of crossing a small forest-dwelling Asian Leopard cat with a domestic cat to create a companion animal with an “exotic” look, but a a domestic temperament.

Most have spotted, marbled silky coats and Luna is no exception.

Luna is primarily a brown, black and tan tabby with brown spots and green eyes.  The 2-year-old cat weighs about 8 pounds. She has been microchipped, with the number  985112002166766.

If you’ve seen Luna,  call (888) 466-3242.

I'm long time Bengal owner, since 1995. I'm on my second pair and they are family to me. My heart aches for you that you've lost her! Honestly, if I didn't have a bad back, I would go out and try to help you find her. I pray that she is returned to you in good health and someone has the decency to do that.
