Power is expected to be restored in most areas by 11:30 p.m. Monday.

Nearly 9,000 DTE Energy customers in Plymouth and Canton are without power Sunday, after high winds rolled through the area just before 6 p.m.

According to the energy company's outage map, the largest outage is in the area of Canton north of Michigan Avenue and south of Cherry Hill Road, between Lilley and Lotz. Nearly 3,000 customers lost power in that area, and power is expected to be restored around 11:30 p.m. Sunday for those customers, according to DTE.

For most other outage areas in Plymouth and Canton, power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. Monday.
