Pet of the Week: A Sweet and Tiny Chihuahua

Bell is looking for her fur-ever home.

Bell is a sweet and tiny 5-year-old Chihuahua looking to warm up your lap and your heart.

In her blog, Deb Kern writes, "Senior animals can make wonderful pets and for many deserving older pets, they will be forever grateful to have a caring home in their later years.

"Bell was brought to us when her former guardian could no longer care for her. After lots of loving attention from our veterinary team, Bell is now feeling great and excited to find a quiet home with older children as she can be a bit shy at first with little ones. She loves to go for walks and will prance excitedly when you grab the leash. Bell is a major lap-warmer, and will be a wonderful companion dog."

All the animals available for adoption at the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their adoption fee. HSHV is open 7 days a week for adoptions. Please check the website for current adoption hours at www.hshv.org.
