Pet of the Week: Loveable Pippin Needs a Home

Help this pet find a "fur-ever" home.

Loveable Pippin is an 11-year-old cat at the Humane Society of Huron Valley. He's came to the shelter after his family moved and could not take him along.

Pippin is very friendly and smart.

In her blog, Deb Kern writes, "If you are looking for an independent but affectionate cat, we do hope you will come and meet Pippin. He seems to enjoy a quiet and laid back home where he can spread out and make himself right at home. This Friday, Aug. 9, HSHV will once again hold a Free Feline Friday where any cat older than 5 months will be eligible for a free adoption. Pippin has been waiting for a home of his own since February."

HSHV is open daily at 11 a.m. for adoptions. All pets available for adoption are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, medically and behaviorally evaluated, and they have a microchip ID all included in their low adoption fee.
