Plymouth Art Council's Holiday Art Sale to Include Daisy Wall Bricks

The Art Sale begins the Art Council's winter fundraising campaign.

The Plymouth Community Arts Council's (PCAC) Holiday Art sale to benefit PCAC programs takes place on Dec. 7 from 3-6 p.m. in its facility, located at 774 N. Sheldon Road in Plymouth.

The event kicks off the PCAC's winter fundraising campaign.

The sale will feature original art work, ornaments, pottery, and prints created by PCAC affiliated artists and instructors. Items include hand illustrated dinosaur Christmas ornaments by Nick Bair; wood block prints by Tony Roko, Brian Rizza and Kirbi Fagan; small works flower acrylic paintings, art prints and cards by Denise Cassidy Wood; felted holiday trees by Jan Waller; vintage inspired pottery and restructured vinyl records by Lisa Howard; illustrated cards by Pam Grossmann, and small works by Peggy Kerwan.

The PCAC will also be an authorized seller of the popular Daisy Factory bricks donated to the Plymouth Preservation network when the wall was destroyed last month. Sale of the bricks will benefit both the preservation organization and PCAC programs - PUPS Youth Theater, new Music & Movement classes, Saturday puppetry workshops, summer camp, and exhibits. The PPN is now working to bring a united historical awareness to the disposition Central Middle School property, formerly Plymouth High School. Supply of the bricks will be limited.

"As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our supporters and members to fund our programs, exhibits and events," said Executive Director, Lisa Howard.

PCAC has added a "Donate" button to its website to make it easy for those who would like to support the organization.
