Plymouth's Old Village Plans Yard and Trunk Sales
Multi-family sales begin at 8 a.m. on April 28.
Plymouth's Historic Old Village area will once again be hosting its annual Yard and Trunk Sale event from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. April 28.
This has become known as the one of the largest Detroit-area multi-family sales, in which more than 25 homes and businesses participate. Shoppers never know what bargains they might find in Old Village.
In the parking lot of the restaurant is the Old Village Trunk Sale, where anyone can rent a car space there for $10 a space and sell household wares, collectibles, antiques or whatever is legal to sell in Michigan. This part of the event is a fundraiser for the Old Village Association, which promotes and helps beautify Old Village. To reserve spaces, email moppat@comcast.net .
Old Village is located north of Plymouth Road, west of Haggerty Road, centered on Mill and Starkweather streets. Bring your friends and discover our shops and be sure to have lunch at one of our pubs or restaurants.
See the map of Old Village here.
Start your "Sale-ing" at (885 Starkweather St., next to the railroad) and get maps to all the homesand at most of the sale locations. Coffee and doughnuts will be for sale at that location.
Mark Oppat is the Old Village Association Yard and Trunk Sale Chairperson.
