Real BarBQ Raises $1,300 for Gilda's Club Metro Detroit

Canton restaurant presents check to charity.

Real BarBQ of Canton delivered a $1,300 check to Laura Varon Brown of Gilda's Club Metro Detroit after a fundraiser from Oct. 15-31 raised donatinos for the group.

Gilda’s Club Metro Detroit provides a no-cost program for men, women, teens and young children living with all types of cancer, as well as their families and friends. The environment is very welcoming and is in a home-like setting.

“Many of our customers or their families have been touched by breast cancer, so we are proud to be able to support such a worthwhile cause,” RealBarBQ manager Jim Pinion said in a news release before the event.
