Water Main Breaks on Main Street
Residents in the immediate area of the water main break may experience some lower than normal water pressure until repairs are completed.
The City of Plymouth has experienced a water main break on Main Street, near the Goodyear Store and Mayflower Party Shop, according to a Facebook Post by the city this afternoon.
City Department of Municipal Services crews are continuing to work to locate and then repair the water main. There is still a significant amount of work to be completed. It is anticipated that crews will be on-site for several more hours.
As a result of the water main break, Main Street is closed between Sutherland and Linden. It is expected that this section of Main Street will remain closed for several more hours as crews continue to make repairs to the water main and roadway.
The City's water system remains safe and secure, but residents in the immediate area of the water main break may experience some lower than normal water pressure until repairs are completed.
