Boulevard Tree Lighting and Salvation Army Kettle Kick-Off
The Plymouth Downtown Development Authority and Plymouth Salvation Army Corps will host a Main Street boulevard tree lighting and Salvation Army Red Kettle kick-off in Kellogg Park 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.
Panera Bread will be back, supplying free coffee and hot chocolate to those who attend. The Salvation army Brass Band will be there, too, and Community Financial will have Magic 105.1 there from 6-8 p.m.
The Salvation Army will hand out gifts to the first 100 people who arrive, and officials will speak briefly before the new LED tree lights are turned on.
Those who bring non-perishable food donations for the Salvation Army pantry have a chance to win downtown gift certificates donated by local businesses, including Candy Trail, Cupcake Station, Delta Diamond, Home Sweet Home, Ironwood Grill, Magnolia Fresh Flower Market, National Benefit Consulting, Nico & Vali, Omelette & Waffle Café, Penn Theatre, ROM Fitness Studio, and Salon Awesome.
